willing to take part to get a diverse range of participants. The activity of the participants will majorly involve responding to the questions asked by the researcher. 3.11 Data Analysis After completing the interview with each participant, the researcher will verify the transcripts to minimize any entry errors. Since the study will majorly involve the collection of qualitative data, the analysis of this types of data will be done using exploratory data analysis and general linear models. Other methods that could be used include correlation and scatter plots. 3.12 Ethical Considerations

Methodology 9 Ethical approval to conduct the research will be obtained from the Criminology Research Ethics Committee of the University of Northampton. Also, confidentiality of the participants will be maintained. To ensure that participants are able to give informed consent, a letter of consent will be attached explaining the purpose of the study and what is expected from each participant reassuring them that their confidentiality will be maintained. Moreover, confidentiality will also be maintained by recording and notes to be kept locked away (except to show my supervisor), keeping myself informed with the acts and guidelines regarding the handling of personal information and the use of Pseudonyms. Importantly, pseudonyms will be maintained throughout the dissertation to ensure that the participants cannot be identified. Finally, information regarding the right to withdraw from the project is stated in the consent form. Participants are given two weeks for them to choose to withdraw from the study. 3.13 Limitations Given that this is a highly sensitive study, some participants might be unwilling to be interviewed due to the fear of the unknown. As a result, participants might provide wrong information which can lead to the researcher making wrong conclusions. To address this problem, a consent form has been developed to explain to the participants why their contribution is important and why they should take part in the study. With this, it is hoped that they will provide accurate information. Another limitation of this study is that it is going to focus on a diverse population. Therefore, it will be difficult to select a representative sample. For this reason, the results of this study cannot be generalized. Nevertheless, the results will still be important as they can be used as a basis for future research. The lack of representation in this study stems from the fact that the population that will be used will not be randomized and cannot therefore be a representation of a larger population. It might also be difficult to reach out to some of the

Lack of cooperation by the participants might lead to biased data which could make it difficult to analyse the data. Furthermore, given that the research topic is wide, the researchers might sway from the objectives thus leading to vague findings.
