The US government also promised to provide lifetime medical benefits to the men as well as burial services ("Tuskegee Study - Timeline - CDC - NCHHSTP," 2018) . Wives, widows, and children were added to those who would receive benefits in 1975 ("Tuskegee Study - Timeline - CDC - NCHHSTP," 2018) . Then in 1995 the benefits were to include medical and health benefits for all included ("Tuskegee Study - Timeline - CDC - NCHHSTP," 2018) .
