Methodology Participants/Sampling Procedure The participants are Senior High School students who are enrolled in Home Economics courses. Data Gathering Procedure Three data collection instrument was used: a nutrition knowledge test, a food/nutrition attitude instrument containing four scales, and a two-part food behavior assessment form. Data Analysis Procedure A quasi-Solomon four-group experimental design was used. T o establish a cause-effect relationship between two or more variables. Control groups are identified and exposed to the variable. Results are compared with results from groups not exposed to the variable. Summary/ Highlights of the Findings/ Recommendations for further studies There are two experimental groups that was taught nutrition via the curriculum and was posttested but only one was pretested before the discussion. There are also two control group that was both posttested but only one control group was pretested. Neither control group received food and nutrition instruction until after the study was complete. The findings show that on the scale called Nutrition Affects Health, t he experimental group had considerably enhanced knowledge score s and enhanced attitude scores. No significant changes were observed in posttest scores on the food behavior assessment form.
