Series G bonds will pay $20 on January 24. Please post your bid prices and quantities to the class discussion board in “Discussion Board”. The bids are visible to everyone. You can submit higher bids if you wish, up until 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 23. In the chat room at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 23, I will announce the highest bid and the quantity purchased. Anybody in the chat room that day can then post a higher bid if they like. If not, then the highest price on the discussion board becomes the bid price. Anybody who wants to can buy bonds at that point at that price. If any bonds remain, we will have a new auction in the chat room starting at the next highest price. This process will continue until all 100 bonds are sold. So for this assignment, please include your first bid price and quantity here as part of the problem set, and also post it to the Class Discussion Board. You can change your bid on the class discussion board up until 10:00 a.m. on Monday, when the bidding will transfer to the virtual classroom. Good luck with your bids! My bid is 15 dollars for 3 share.
