regulating our emotional reactions, which is also vulnerable to stress. The environment is extremely important for both the brains health but also to the intelligence level of children and adults. Language The ability to use language, is part of what makes us human. Human language isn’t something that nonhumans can learn. Children pick up language rather quickly. A child’s early experience helps to build the parts of the brain that support and learn language. The parts of the brain that are responsible for language are the frontal and temporal lobes of the left hemisphere. ASLU use the same brain patterns as spoken language. Evidence suggests children start learning
language before they are born. The first 9 months of life show how importance language is. Children are able to learn and absorb the language they hear around us. Children require the physical and personal interactions (in person and not on screen). The brain changes and become more adult like when children learn the language structures etc., which only happens when children learn more words and more complex sentence structure. The interactions and experiences with language (particularly with parents), help to shape the language and skills children build upon their whole lives
