money. I wanted an expensive electronic product, and my parents said no. Then I ended up receiving it for Christmas. This both taught me that I can’t always have everything that I wanted, and also allowed for me to have a wondrous surprise Christmas morning. 4. What factors affect supply and demand? Scenario: A new company starts and takes off. They have a limited supply at first, and that’s a contributing factor to how popular they are now. Since not everyone has a product of theirs. So, if they increase the supply, then more people will have their product, meaning that the demand for said product goes down, and so does their popularity. So either they have to come up with a new product, or their business will slow, or even fail. 5. Should the government print more currency to help the poor? No. I believe the cause would be something called “Inflation.” Now, I’m not going to pretend to fully understand how Inflation works, but I do know that if you print more money, the cost to print that money will increase slightly. And if you print more of a certain currency, and flood the market, the value of that currency decreases, since there is more of that currency available. 6. What is your opportunity cost for being at school with me right now? 7. Describe the slope and meaning of a demand curve.
