Constraints
The constraints of this project consider following the laws of automobiles to create a vehicle that
is safe, reliable and dependable on the road. The constraints depend upon the law of the region of
deployment, as the laws differ from region to region. The laws governing the USA does not suit
the same laws as Japan or China. USA and Canada use left hand driving on the road while China
and Japan have been using right hand driving. Another constraint is the timing of the project to
be done within the project schedule. Another major constraint is the budgeting of the project. The
project was budgeted to be $100,000. The estimated cost is $117,400. Thats $17,400 over
budget.
Dependencies
The 4Runner hybrid is dependent upon the 4Runner that is already on the road. Just this new
4Runner shall be created to join its brother on the road. It will be created based off the modelling
and design of the 4Runner available and the hybrid portions of the Toyota lineup. The delivery of
the Toyota to be delivered within the dated time is dependent on the resources available
including the budget that is set to be utilized in creating this vehicle. The labor teams assigned
must be available to work on these vehicles with the allocated budget and allocated time. So the
project is dependent on the parts, labor and logistics.

Assumptions
We are assuming there is a large marketplace for the 4Runner hybrid as there are many
individuals whom enjoy driving trucks but also care about the environment. We are assuming the
hybrid version of the 4Runner will lower the consumption of gas for consumers. We are
