to them to real life events that have happened in the past. The “hits” and “misses” are exactly what I agree with that people are letting take over when observing one who is claiming to reveal ESP. Remembering events that confirm personal expectations and beliefs and ignoring non- supportive evidence or scientific research are what people that believe in ESP are falling victim too. I believe that in some cases especially when a person is receiving positive information it is just what they want to believe. Some people that goes to a person to get their mind read usually want to hear about a person that has passed away or what their future holds. They can pretty much be told anything, but mixing that with the emotions and memories or expectations that they already have in their head lead them into ultimately believing that they are being told some spectacular, unbelievable telepathy that they believe in. It is a mind game that a person is

3 Module 4 playing with them self and without any proof that ESP is real, again under proper observation conditions I have a hard time trying to figure out how people believe ESP is real.
