lowering the drinking age to would only add to that problem. There would be an increase of the population that drink in bars and nightclubs, crowded as they already are therefore, increasing intoxication fights that happen occasionally, this is somewhat a nuisance and is very unsafe to the rest of society. Establishments sell alcohol to drunk patrons to increase their revenue, that will not change if the drinking age should be lowered. As indicated, twenty one is the age of most guiding rules for a lot of things, which includes buying a handgun, renting a car, gambling in a casino (in most states) to name a few, alcohol consumption should follow the same guiding rule. It is true that a teen becomes an adult at the age of 18 and I will say that some are quite mature at that age however, I can also agree that some are very immature as well, therefore adding alcohol would just worsen the level of maturity (ProCon.org). I have a daughter that is 19 years old, whom is a current drivers license holder and I would not be happy with the thought of her drinking at that age. She needs to be able to become an expert in driving before even thinking about drinking alcohol.
