The older generation tend to become lonely quicker because of the empty nest syndrome. They fill that loneliness with companionship by getting pets. They want to make sure their pets are given the best quality products out there even if it means spending a little more. The older generation has a healthy lifestyle that most want to sustain and by giving their pets a wholesome and organic pet food, it gives them the ability to have longer walks and more time at the beach tospend together. When target marketing, a company needs to consider geographic, demographic, and psychographic factors that influence their consumer base. To ensure their products become a sweeping sensation, the company also needs to focus on what the consumer needs or wants to ensure they are marketing in the right area. What is good for one area may not sell in another part of the country because it doesn’t fit the needs of that area. With a good target market analysis, a company can flourish.
