intelligent design is a reasonable way to view the formation of species; it would be detailed in a related textbook, Of Pandas and People . Teachers also would need to discuss how there are gaps in evolutionary theory. The school wondered how they would pay for the textbooks, but Of Pandas soon appeared at the school, supposedly from an anonymous donor. Teachers who voted against their new requirements resigned in protest. 1 Because of the controversy, a court case called Kitzmiller v. Dover began in 2005. Some parents joined teachers and staff in the case, which was presided over by Judge John E. Jones III. Opponents of intelligent design discussed Tiktalik, the organism that provided transitional fossils from fish to land animals. They also talked about how geneticists have been able to confirm that evolution happens on a chromosomal level. They argued that supernatural causation is not scientific since it does not seek to prove anything through testing. 1 Meanwhile, supporters of intelligent design used bacterial flagellum to support their case.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
