A disadvantage people have to choose a measurement or multiple measurements of validity appropriate to the test and risk choosing a validity test that is not appropriate this approach. Therefore, a disadvantage is that it may be incomplete because all the inferences about the test scores are not being measured (Messick, 1995). I do not think that trinitarian method to be the most useful. A disadvantage when the test measures a specific part of a job or other specialized trait and the validity of the test calls for it to be measured based on one criterion (Cohen et. al, 2013). Decide which model appears to be the most valid for determining validity of a test. The model that appears to be the most valid for determining validity of a test is the unitarian approach. The Unitarian approach categorizes the three categories, permits for a more thorough of a picture for validity. The method used is to carefully analyze each category to give the users with a detailed description by considering the implications of the tests scores to the consequences (Cohen & Swerdlik, 2018). When determining the validity of tests and measures, it is merely using data that is clearly defined and measured (Guion, 1980).

Explain your decision in terms of the implications for decision making about a test's validity. In my opinion the unitarian approach would be the most effective due to the information about the validity of a test including the three categories. The method used is to carefully analyze each category to give the users detailed description or a thorough picture for validity by considering the implications of the tests scores to the consequences (Cohen & Swerdlik, 2018). The categories are essential when looking at each component to determine validity. References Cohen, R. J. & Swerdlik, M. E. (2018). The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
