Task 3 Action team member’s hazard reports
In this task you will hold a meeting with the other two team members and update and
implement further action if required with the recent hazard identification and risk
assessment and control (HIRAC).
3.1 Update team members about current risks
Bullying, chronic ills such as stress and injured, trouble with customers or uncontrollable
issues, and others

to the assessment guide, you will need to cover a few points. Please refer to the assessment guide.
For example you can make an announcement to your team members about a current risk at your
workplace and also mention how you can eliminate this risk.

3.2 Action team members HIRAC reports
HIRAC have to make provisions for securing the safety, health and welfare of our colleagues.
And we need to make pro visions for protecting our clients against risks to safety or health
in connection with our trade and activities.
It is classified;
Hazard – anything that can cause harm.
Risk – a probability of harm actually being done.
Danger – the relative exposure to a hazard.
HIRARC is a compound word which is made up of three consecutive activities running one
after the other. The activities consist of Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and risk
control. Thus We need to know about HIRARC because it is the core business of all WSH
personnel, safety committee members, supervisors, and workers.
Assessor – Not Yet Competent Yes what you just mentioned made sense but you need to write a report
about the current hazard and you need to state what is your action that you would propose to take to
prevent any harm to the team? This should look like a short report.

Task 4 Implement and monitor organisational
procedures for maintaining WHS records for
the team
In this task you will update the WHS register with the latest results of the HIRAC activity. In
addition you will undertake an analysis of this register and make a summary of the current
trends with WHS in the organisation.
