Lesson 9, 10, 11: (3 points) In paragraph (at least 3 sentences), describe how the Constitution solved the problems of the Articles of Confederation. Answer: The Articles of Confederation was politically very weak. It gave responsibility to the federal government but they did not give Congress or the national government enough power. For example the Congress could not raise taxes and now with the constitution, Congress had power to raise taxes. Show two examples of natural rights in the Constitution: 1. The pursuit of happiness is a natural right. This means that we have the right to freely pursue joy and create your own happy lifestyle. We can create and achieve our dream and goals. 2. Liberty is a natural right. In America, liberty means that we are all equally free and independent. We have the right to make our own decisions and live freely like choosing what to wear or who to vote.
