in a parking lot and sprinkle them with an assortment of items such as flour, ketchup, and mustard. Dominance over the newcomers increases the higher rank females sense of power. This display of dominance over the freshman portrays that the thirst for power rids the upperclassmen of a sense of morality as well as a sense of equality. It rids the upperclassmen of morality because there would be no reason to demoralize and embarrass the freshman if there was no element of a thirst for power. It rids them of a sense of equality because they aim to show that their group of females holds greater value than the newcomer group of females. An example of this is shown in “ The Declaration of Independence” because King George and Great Britain “haze” the Americans through taxation, new laws, and instances of unnecessary force. By imposing these policies on the Americans, the British were given a sense of power through displays of dominance. Equality and morality meant nothing to the British as long as they had definite power over the Americans. Another instance where power presents itself in the movie is when an upperclassmen female tries to display her dominance over a freshman female at a party in a field under the Moon towers.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
