Many times being empty can be looked at as a bad thing but you made it a positive reference. I think the sentence where change is both creation and destruction was one of my favorite things I have ever read. The destruction phase of change is why I fear it so many times because sometimes destruction is a painful process, and yet, the creation phase holds so much joy and excitement! I have to agree with you that reading that section made me think of times that God has taken something away, only to replace it with something new, something more fitting for the season I was coming up to. “Do not look at the former things or consider things of old.
