Discuss how you would develop a process that would ensure that information and observations were being gathered and used to inform planning for ALL children within your room/service. You will now be required to develop an activity to support the child’s development and learning through play, intentional teaching, modelling and the learning environment. You will then ask your two (2) colleagues in your class and your trainer to give you feedback on your plans and reflect on and improve on your practices. You can discuss the questions with your class group and consult your workbook. a. What strategies would you now implement to ensure that children’s documentation can be shared with families? (guide 1-2 sentences) By creating portfolio, children’s learning story will provide families with children developmental update. With meetings held by the parents (formal & informal) and the educator or centre daily communication notes. b. Discuss the confidentiality practices you will need to follow to ensure information is shared appropriately. (guide 1-2 sentences) Positive information should be passes to the parents about the children, it relate in written and verbally.
