President. Being able to hold your company in the top 300 in the 2017 Fortune 500 list is the reason why you’ve climbed to the top, CEO of your company, and I admire that. I have displayed leadership roles by earning the spot as captain on my high-school hockey team and leading them to two state titles. It’s traits like communication, trust, and perseverance I’ve learned that sets leaders apart from rest of the pack and really stand out. What I can bring to the table as a valuable supply chain manager at BorgWarner is the same traits you brought to the table when you first started in 1989. Although BorgWarner wasn’t your roots, its where you found home and built your career as a successful businessman and leader. It was perseverance that got you your MBA from the University of South Wales, and your persistent hard work that landed you your first job as an engineer with Lucas Aerospace; following Rockwell Automotive, and Britax Wingard. It was your trust that BorgWarner earned when they gave you the responsibilities of General Manager, Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and eventually appointed President. Your communication skills and person- ability with others merited you the Southeast Michigan Entrepreneur of The Year in 2014, which was well deserved after a record- breaking year in 2013 of the company’s total revenue.
