C. Political and legal environment:
The United
States
is a
representative
democracy
and it has a history of corruption. There was
a case of New York politicians Kruger and Lipsky were accused of bribery in 2009. Lipsky paid
Kruger to oppose container regulations in the Bigger Better Bottle Bill. The United States needs more
transparency in their waste system in order to prevent corruption.
Goals:
o
End landfills by 2020
o
Reduce at least 50% of all household waste
Best Method:
o
Focus on laws governing plastic recycling
Further property rights are touched on with insuring large accounts of plastic. Plastics are not
intellectual property and there is not much to restrict the ability to recycle plastics, so political

freedom is not a major issue. Therefore there are not many plastic regulations laws which can help
PRI to develop itself.

think about the future of society and create mechanisms so that
entrepreneurship is a continuous growth in the country

Social class structure: Social stratification occurs through economic, social and cultural
factors, which are:

High social class: Characterized by the accumulation of wealth, high capital and have
a relationship in the public and private sectors.
2.
Middle class: Also has a great economic capital which allows it to be of some good to
promote employment of society.
3.
Working class: Composed of workers, which have a basic income that is necessary to
have an economic financial assistance from public entities in many cases to meet the
needs.
4.
Low social class: Characterized by high unemployment, lack of education, and has a
great need to meet the needs, but they do not have the means to do so.
