a quasi-experimental study. I will further take part in the provision of research training to
point-of-care clinicians as a fundamental strategy of promoting EBP, empower clinicians,
and showcase excellence in clinical research as recommended by Black et al. (2015) in an
EBP correlational study.
Studies by Shayan, Kiwanuka & Nakaye (2019) posit that one of the major
challenges that hinder effective EBP implementation is the lack of EBP culture in most
healthcare settings. To minimize the impact of this challenge, I will become an active
advocate for my EBP project by constantly reminding the administrative personnel such
as the clinical nursing officer of the essence of infusing my research based intervention
into the facility for the purposes of mitigating falls. Such reinforcement will clarify the

seriousness of the patient falls challenge and its impact on the overall quality of life of the
neurological patients and boost faster implementation.
