necessities it will negatively affect their life. Others can find themselves catering to someone else’s necessity which can become a very unhealthy habit. The first step to grasping necessity is understanding what your individual necessities are. By understanding our personal necessities, we can plan our lives around them. Through taking a longer look at them we are also able to become closer with our necessities. We are able to find what makes us tick. If one understands their necessities, they will be better suited to face them. Find what it is that drives your necessity and the playing fields will be even. One must

understand the opponent before they have a chance of winning. Like the story says, “I think it would be well, and proper, and obedient, and pure, to grasp your necessity and not let it go, to dangle limp wherever it takes you.” This means to find your necessity and understand what drives it; take control of what has been controlling you. Many of our necessities come with fear as well. With clothing comes the fear of looking bad or out of place. With death comes the fear of unknowing. With sleep may come nightmares or without sleep may come hallucinations. If one does not appreciate or cater to their necessities, they will find a way to catch up to you; most times with death or humiliation.
