When people are in need of a savior they are accepting the fact that no matter how much you pray, do good works, or do rituals salvation is not guaranteed. “Other religions offer possible salvation (eternal life in Heaven) through trusting in one's own good works, while Christianityoffers certain salvation through trusting in Christ's good works” (Lecture 5,2015). If a person seeksa relationship with Jesus more, they will be more focused in God’s word. AnalysisChristianity is centered on the gospels as a guidebook for life. It has guidelines for how God would want us to treat man. Hope is the strength of Christian belief. Hope is offered fromthe Christian worldview, that we can improve ourselves by focusing on God. We can live better lives by changing our thoughts and actions. We have hope for eternal life with the Lord.Faith also is the strength of Christian belief. We have faith to know that eternal life will happen as long as we believe in God. Christianity is troublesome because you can’t analyze the result of living a Christian life. Being a Christian is making the world a better place. We are to help those in need, but people are often concern about their personal needs rather than giving for other’s needs. Christianity influences a person’s thinking and behavior by making them want to change so that they receive salvation. As a Christian you urge to want to do what’s right by seeking ways to make a difference in the world. We stay away from sin by focusing on God and this is done by following Jesus. ReflectionAs a Christian, it is not always easy to live out the beliefs of the Christian worldview. I know it doesn’t come easy because I am striving to be like Jesus who had many people dislike him. Throughout my days, no matter where I am at I always have the opportunity to live out the belief of the Christian worldview. I struggled with only living my Christian belief strong around Christians to avoid judgement and negative conversations. Growing up, I went to public schools which was full of different people with different religious. In middle school, I knew what I believed and who I wanted to follow but I wasn’t strong in my belief.
