the water is very healthy. Comparing that information to the averages of Snake Lake which is 10.57 mg/L and Delong Lake which is 10.71 mg/L, both lakes are very healthy and the plant life is capable of holding a sustainable producer habitat. The pH testing was taken into two tests, for Snake Lake, the pH level result was 6.6 in test #1 but in test #2, it was N/A in higher range. For Delong Lake, in test #1 the pH level was 7.6 and in test #2 it was 7.4. Anything lower than a pH level of 7 is considered acidic, as shown Snake Lake has a lower pH level of 6.6, the possible cause of Snake Lake having more acidity is the amount of homeless individuals camping around that area. Garbage and possible human waste is the source of pollution which affects the pH levels and dissolved oxygen tests. References 1. Brown, C., & Hallock, D. (2009). The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
