Include an explanation of the theories that support our suggestions about why these would be productive options. o Opportunities to grow with the company. Very few employees are happy to work in the same position forever, to elevate this companies should give employees the tools needed to move up within the company structure and promote from within and only bring in outside talent if absolutely necessary. The supporting theory I feel is Clayton Alderfer’s existence, relatedness and growth theory (Youssef- Morgan & Noon 2017). o Recognition for job performance. Almost everyone like to be recognized when they have done well, and employees are no different. By taking the time to praise employees when they exceed expectations, perform well in aspects of their job or make a suggestion that leads to growth can encourage them to continue their hard work.
