Course: BIOL 1103 Facilitator: Rebecca Prowse ACTIVITY 2: Concept Kahoot! 20 minutes We will be playing Kahoot to test your knowledge of some of the concepts covered in class last week! You will need a phone or computer – but please stay focused! J ACTIVITY 3: Four Heads are Better Than One! 20 minutes We will break into groups of 4 and I will assign each of you a number from 1-4. The person assigned number 1 will name a concept from last week’s lectures, number 2 will give a definition of the concept, number 3 will give an example of the concept, and number 4 will draw out the concept on the board! We will repeat this 4 times so everybody gets a turn! CLOSER: Study Skill Check-In I will be writing a list of study skills on the board. You will each write down how challenging this skill is for you from 1-5. I will rank which skill seems to be the most challenging and will cover it in the next workshop. J THANKS FOR COMING!
