The client was self-medicating with alcohol and other substances and histumor had progressed much. She helped linked him with medical service for health support since

Even afterbeing helped medically, he didn’t have a place to stay or family to support him for his recoveryhence was accommodated in crisis accommodation service.Erin provided this client with daily support and even helped him connect with his family.Erin not only provided health support but also physical, emotional and social support for herclient. She helped him with his memory loss problem as he had problems with recollection. Shehelped appoint him a public Guidant for decision making and also a financial manager to helphim with his finances. Lack of friendship and family is the main issue in homeless people.Lack of human connection and self-isolation causes mental health issues, drug and alcoholabuse, and general health issues. Lack of social support from their family and friends alsocontribute to mental health problems.People with chronic illnesses require more health services. Some of these homelesspeople are from different cultural backgrounds (Firn, 2018). It is important to provide culturallycompetent care through promoting and incorporation values and attitudes that support minorities(Bozorgzad, 2016). Being flexible and having cross-cultural skills helps in reducing inadequateservice provision through cultural differences. This is achieved by training workers to beculturally competent to accommodate all the clients (Jutkowitz, 2019). Understanding gestures andwords communicated to them by those of different languages or cultures is important as itenables proper attendance to them.Erin is also aware of her surroundings and makes sure people don’t feel contained and stoodover.
