out an earsplitting roar as he watched the friends let out a short but loud scream before taking off out from
the ditch. The furious beast dashed after them with an incredible amount of speed, nearly able to grasp

onto Lulu with his sharp spiky teeth. Fallon glanced down, as they swam, and spotted a nearby cave
beneath the depths. “In there!” she commanded, grabbing their attention. They all dived down into the
small and dark cave before the beast could get a taste of them. His head was the only part of his body that
could fit in, as he roared furiously at the four friends before ducking back out. “It’s won’t be long before
he starts tearing this cave apart”, Willa warned, then grasped onto Fallon’s hand. “Come on”, she told her,
as she pulled her towards another opening to exit the cave. Willa stopped as she and Fallon turned
towards Lulu and Derrick. “You too wait here”, she commanded. “No thanks!” Derrick spat at her. “I am
not about to become seafood!” “More like a midnight snack”, Fallon laughed to herself. “It’s either that or
scram for your lives”, Willa continued, then dragged Fallon with her as they headed towards the surface,
where they spotted the two sassy mermaids sitting on a floating log beneath it. “The rings!” Willa yelled
to them as she and Fallon quickly ripped out the emerald rings from each of the pillows in their hand,
tossing the rest of the pillow to float to the ocean as they threw the rings to each mermaids. “Take the
rings!” Willa continued. The sea beast glanced up from continuously chasing Lulu and Derrick, and
spotted Fallon and Willa up near the surface, as he dashed up to chase them. “Ah!” they both yelled as
they dashed past the mermaids with the beast behind them. The mermaids stared at the colorful emerald
green rings in their palms. “They are pretty rings”, the blue mermaid pointed out. They watched as they
girls dashed past them in the opposite direction with the beast still behind them. “Okay, let’s help”, the
purple one said with sass as they both placed each ring on their ring finger, then swam towards the beast.
Fallon and Willa suddenly spotted Derrick and Lulu and joined them, as they all swam with fear to escape
the agitated sea beast. “Incase we die”, Derrick said to Fallon. “I want you to know that I-”, “Whoa!”
Fallon shrieked before Derrick could finish. Fallon’s arm was being tugged and she was actually
swimming with an incredible amount of speed. Fallon looked above her to see the purple mermaid
grasping onto her hand, while her strong tail pushed swiftly through the rough waves caused by the beast.
She beamed as she glanced down at Derrick, letting down her free hand for him to grab on to as she was
being pulled faster than the beast could catch up to. Fallon looked behind to see the blue mermaid
grasping onto Willa’s hand, who was carrying Lulu, as they all approached another dark but longer cave
