How to deal with spiritual weakness. The first step to spiritual growth is identification and acknowledgment of our weakestreligious point and recognizing that God has unconditional love for humanity. The next step isconfessing the guilt to God with the expectation of forgiveness and restoration from God becauseof His abundance of mercy and faithfulness. Confession breaks the power of sin, thus enablinghumanity to reengage with God. The final step in overcoming a spiritual weakness in offeringthanksgiving to the Lord for the restoration provided (Wiley 2015). Individually, I haveidentified my weakest point in spirituality and develop a plan for improvement. I will ensure thatI participate in the church prayer ministry, have a prayer partner for regular prayer meetings.Keeping a record of my prayers and answers from God is also a step I intend to implement in myspiritual growth. I also plan to lead small study groups to study more about prayer in faith, as thiswill increase my knowledge of intercession. My ultimate goal is to pray at least three times aday. My ultimate desire is to have a sincere closer relationship with my Lord.
