BSBMGT517 - Manage operational plan PROJECTS Projects are to be conducted at the workplace, either in an actual setting or In a simulated environment where safety or other considerations prevent ‘live’ practice. Instructions to the Learner: Please read the instructions and record your answer in the spaces under the question. All project tasks must be satisfactorily completed in full as part of the evidence requirements for the successful completion of this unit. Your assessor may verbally challenge your answer by asking you to clarify or further explain your answer. Additional pages may be attached if required. Instructions to the Assessor: The assessor is to record all details of learner’s performance of the tasks and attach any relevant information required in making an assessment decision The assessor may also ask the learner to show them work previously completed or ask questions to confirm the learner’s understanding. This evidence is to be recorded or included as an attachment if possible If the written response is not accurate or requires further information from the learner, you may ask one or more clarifying questions and you must record the answer given by the learner The Learner must respond to the projects in writing or adjustments can be made, at your discretion, to respond to the project verbally. If the latter is chosen you are required to record the learner’s response. This should be negotiated with the learner prior to commencing the project, and a justification provided in the Assessor Comments. Reasonable Adjustment may be made sparingly to projects, however the main objective of the project cannot be altered. Where adjustments are made to the way in which evidence is gathered relating to the project, these are to be noted by the assessor in the Project comments at the end of this section. Adjustments must still allow for all checklist items to be demonstrated by the candidate You are to indicate in the Assessor Checklist below if the Learner has demonstrated their abilities satisfactorily in the Response/Answer section. The purpose of the checklist is to provide you with a visual guide as to what should be observed. These indicators are not exclusive and any extra indicators are to be noted.
