physical activity they may not be getting otherwise and add a layer of emotional control through the breathing exercises. (Noggle, Steiner, Minami & Khalsa 2012) Showing that mindful yoga can help relieve some of the stress and tension of being a teen. The toy featured in this room is a classic board game that will increase many skills necessary for this age group. Monopoly is a board game that can encourage smart money management skills, math skills and strategic thinking skills. Learning how to spend money wisely is an important part of growing up, it is important that these skills be developed early, while the game of monopoly may not help these children apply for school loans. COMMUNITY CENTER 11 participation. The emotional upheaval going on in this age group can be a lot to handle but we can give them the tools to succeed in managing some of that through yoga (Noggle, Steiner, Minami & Khalsa 2012). The other activities in this room are geared more toward continued cognitive enhancement while still promoting the necessary social skills and can also be used to enhance the development of personal control but will need to be closely monitored to ensure that the children are not exerting that control over other students without being intrusive. Building a Community Center and accepting this proposal will benefit not only the parents trusting us with their children, but the children themselves. As long as we continue to provide fun and educational activities for all age groups with the support from our team to make each room a fun and safe learning environment. By approving my proposal, you are once again committing yourselves to promote excellence in our community one child at a time. This community center has the potential to become a place where children can not only advance cognitively but learn valuable social skill that will benefit them for the rest of their lives.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
