iii. Connected the USB port of Data Acquisition and Control Interface to USB ports of the computer and turned on the 24V AC power supply for Data Acquisition and Control Interface unit. iv. Turned on the computer and started the data acquisition software LVDAC_EMS and selected the 240V and 50Hz as operating voltage and frequency. v. CONCLUSION: From this experiment, it was observed that torque will have positive polarity, when it causes the object to rotate and negative polarity, when it opposes the rotation of an object. generator, the rotor rotates slightly, which is due to the electromagnetic induction. The magnetic field is produced in the windings, when the current flows through it. When the polarity of the battery changed, the rotor moved to the new position, which is because of the polarity of the magnetic fields always oppose the rotation of the generator. Manually tried to rotate the generator, it was observed that certain force is required to turn the rotor. This force must be greater than to overcome the force opposing the rotation of the generator. When the battery is removed from the winding, it was easier to turn the rotor, which means low force is required. Due to magnetic field, strong force is required to turn the rotor, when it is removed, it was easier to rotate. 6. POWER Vs WIND CHARACTERISTICS OF A WIND TURBINE GENERATOR I. AIM: To observe the effect of wind power varies with wind speed and familiar with torque Vs speed curve and mechanical power Vs speed curve. II.
