should also have culturally diverse trained counselors so counselors are prepared to work with clients who have a different cultural background. Communication Strategies for Legal and Ethical Issues Jill, My name is Sarah Squires. I am a licensed mental health counselor working at the Community Mental Health Center. I currently have a 31-year-old single mother who is going through some psychological trouble. She has been in my office for four months now but her anxiety and paranoia has dramatically increased these past few weeks. We have assessed her with our psychologist. Through our assessments, we have found a diagnosis of anxiety disorder and borderline personality disorder. I have referred her to you for further psychological testing and for finding medication that would be needed to treat her anxiety and delusions. I have documentation of our psychologist’s assessment testing and my case notes. There is also a copy that shows she has given written consent for you to receive these notes. Once you have completed your testings, I would like an update on any other diagnosis’ and medications to put in my file for a new treatment plan. Sincerely, Sarah V.
