This is because the more concentrated with aspirin is the darker the solution is. The aspirin solution
becomes darker when concentration increases because the aspirin in the solution reacted with a reactive substance, which gave the solution color. Therefore the more aspirin there is in the solution to gain color due to the reaction the darker the solution will become. This is directly related to the absorbance because the amount of light that a solution can absorb is dependent on how dark the solution. The darker (more pure) the solution is the more light that it can absorb; the lighter (more diluted) the solution is the less light that it can absorb. The direct correlation of concentration and absorbance makes it possible to predict both concentrations and absorbance levels with the use of Beer’s Law. Beer’s Law
