Trust can only be built through respect and proper personal relationships.Leaders have to show Genuine care regarding the rest of the members, and this will drawmembers forward to act towards the required change (Noure Elahi, 2015).
6Exemplary leaders always look for ways to motivate the members and encourage them tocarry on until they achieve the change they want. They drive through a variety of styles, such asrewarding, meeting the needs of the members, celebration engagement among other ways ofmotivation. They ensure that whatever the motivation is given, it matches and aligns with theachievements already realized. These Practices regarding effective Leadership contribute andmake the essential competencies of the leadership. These practices ensure that the leader focuseson Modeling the Way, inspiration of the vision that has to be Shared, they also focus onChallenging the existing Process, they further enhance the other members’ actions; lastly,exemplary leaders also focus on encouraging the Heart of the members. These attributes andpractices are deployed or used by individuals to enhance and ensure better and effectiveleadership, and all leaders have to provide the acquisition of these practices, whether they areorganizational leaders, civil rights leaders, family leaders et cetera. This will enable themdischarge and deliver their duty effectively as leaders (Noure Elahi, 2015). Leadership Model and Contemporary LeaderThe leadership model selected for this paper is the transformational Leadership Model –this model works in such a way that the leader works together with the member or follower in theidentification of the required change, they then create/establish a vision that will lead, guide ordirect them towards the necessary change already identified. The creation of an active idearequires inspiration and proper execution of the duties that may enhance achievement of thevision (Lowe & Bathula, 2019).
7This model of leadership requires that the leader has to have committed members whosecooperation will facilitate and enable the achievement of the goals/vision. The leader under thismodel, possess various characteristics such as Extraversion- this is where the leader hasaffiliation as well as agency; these features relate mainly to the personality trait of the leader.
