Article 2 Marsic, Berman, Barry, McCloskey (2015) created a study looking at The Relationship Between Intentional Self-Injurious Behavior and the Loudness Dependence of Auditory Evoked
5 Potential in Research Volunteers. This study described in the article is not behavior analytic. The reason why being that this study does not result in a treatment that could be generalized. The study did not explain were the intervention was effective. For the technological dimension the study did not apply interventions. The study did cover the applied dimension. There was not a theoretical foundation for self-injurious behavior and loudness. The study does not demonstrate the effects of the intervention. The article did not present a measurable behavior. Conclusion The seven dimension of applied behavior analysis is the core of ABA. These dimensions make up the criteria that a study must meet in order to be considered applied behavior analysis. In the Krentz, Miltenberger, Valbuena (2016) article the study demonstrated all the seven dimensions needed which made it behavior analytic. In the Marsic, Berman, Barry, McCloskey (2015) article this study did not show all the dimension required to be behavior analytic.
