It’s up to each group to organize or coordinate any way they want as long as everyone works equally hard towards a common goal. (PREZI is fine.) All and any types of visuals are allowed in this presentation: photographs, maps, charts, graphs, videos… if video , it will probably enhance the effectiveness of your presentation, but it will not count toward the 6/7-minute time limit. I am not looking at number of slides; my focus is on how long the presentation is. Not only explain to the audience how each of the four themes are portrayed in both the short story and film, but also explain what the significance of each one is. What might have the author/writer been thinking at the time he/she brought in these particular themes to his/her literary work. Also, compare them to each other. In other words, once you finish giving examples and explaining the significance of each theme, explain if these portrayals are similar between print and film, or if they are different. …and how so? The audience is also a very important part of this project. As a unit, each group will be assigned to mandatorily ask questions or constructively comment to a particular group. Each individual will make at least one question or comment. The question or comment has to be intellectually relevant to the presentation. If not asking, the audience will behave in proper presentation etiquette. ALTERNATIVE THEMES: If your group is having trouble finding enough “textual evidence” based on a certain theme, the group has the option to exchange one for one of these. Obligation -Nostalgia -Message -Props Family -Religion -God -Magic / Fantasy Marriage -Murder / Crime -Death -Age / Time Love -Gender Roles -Childhood -Hate Profession -Feminism -Sports/Baseball -Loyalty Passion -Destiny -Aurora Borealis - Communication Murder -Revenge -Spirituality -God Adolescence -1969 -Nature -Alcohol / Drugs

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
