2. Which measurement method(s) gave you the most and the least accurate measurements (number closes to the accepted values) for density? Why do those methods lead to more/less accurate readings? The buret gave the most accurate measurements because the density had three significant digits making the range of numbers smaller and more accurate. While the beaker had a more of an estimate to the values it wasn’t completely accurate.

Course: 1251L/25 Experiment: Introduction to measurement and technique Laboratory Report 3. Do the densities of two different compounds have to be identical to conclude that the liquids are the same? The answer to this question is not straightforward and is what is called experimental uncertainty. When making measurements, it is possible that two students that have the same liquid might measure different densities. How might this happen? It’s possible for two students to have two different densities even with the same liquid due to user error. One student might think that they have the exact measurement when it might actually be .01 mL over or under.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
