If some capital is geared towards tuition reimbursement, the employees will feel more motivated to continue their association with the hospital, and this could be beneficial in improving the fiscal health of the hospital. It is therefore important to tie the nurses down with such benefits to avoid losing them to other hospitals. The CFO should also be able to identify the sectors that are most effective within the hospital and give a report on how to capitalize on these sectors. In doing so, he can forecast on the economic situation of the organization and thus be knowing where to channel more investment precisely. The way he or she will be able to project the longstanding financial picture of the hospital will be the basis of differentiating a good CFO from a great one. He should, therefore, do an extensive analysis of the hospital’s situation and come up with the perfect investment plan.
