Summary ! Packaging design has become huge in the past few years as companies are realizing that good packaging equals increased sales. ! Your packaging is often a consumer's first point of contact with your product, and a great package may make someone try a new product line they’ve never heard of. ! There are so many things to think about when designing a package – it is design that has to function . It has to protect what’s inside. It has to allow for easy storage and distribution , give information to the customer about what it is and draw attention to itself on a shelf full of competing products.

Introducing the Land Wind X7 The infamous Landwind X7 is a Chinese clone of the British-Indian Range Rover Evoque. The boss of Land Rover says his company will complain to Chinese officials about the Land Wind X7 SUV, which he has accused of “copying” the design of the Range Rover Evoque . Land Rover CEO Ralf Speth says the Chinese- made Land Wind X7 – which bears more than a striking resemblance to the British Evoque – represents a breach of intellectual property laws.
