We have to move away from the “eye for an eye” mentality of revenge
It would be unjust and inhuman to show sympathy to a cold blooded murder why
should we allow a criminal to live while they took the lives of many. If forgiven for
heinous crimes it only gives them the opportunity to commit another crime and not
suffer for their previous actions.
Life in prison is much worse punishment and a more effective deterrent
The biggest reason to keep the death penalty is to prevent the crimes from
happening again the parole system now a day is a joke. Does it makes sense to
anyone outside the legal system to have multiple live sentences plus twenty years ?
even if a criminal is sentenced to life without the possibility of parole he still has a
chance to kill while in prison or even worse escape and go on a crime/murder spree
