Nicholas.Aha; itmentions cognitive disabilities.We know Amanda suffers from them and she is also a few yearsbehind.I enjoy the idea of role playing, shaking hands, and even respecting personal space.This will really help with her excessive overly affectionate behaviors as well as those listed underconceptual and practical skills.Also, if Amanda has friends that she does not spend much timewith outside of her ‘circle’, than it is important to look at ways to encourage these opportunitiesof growth.Lastly, Best Buddies is a great program that should be highly considered.Life skills are being addressed in her current program; however, the level of supportneeds to be considered.Next year they will incorporate a community based program which
