Given two views of the figure, provide an arbitrary view of the figure.
Prepared by SA Daniel Joseph V. Yarte With some slides made by Sir Lagria ©2016 Procedure 1. Analyze the configuration of the cutting plane. 2. Create a reference plane, and project accordingly. 3. Determine the hatched area, and hatch it. 4. Draw unhatched area with proper visibility. 5. Do not forget to include centerlines. 6. Hidden lines are not needed. 7. Make sure that the final figure conforms to the dimensions of the cutting plane.

Prepared by SA Daniel Joseph V. Yarte With some slides made by Sir Lagria ©2016 Procedure 1. Project all points 2. Map out which point is projected where at the auxiliary plane. 3. Connect the dots (points) with H pencil 4. Check for visibility. Make visible lines solid, and hidden lines dotted.

Prepared by SA Daniel Joseph V. Yarte With some slides made by Sir Lagria ©2016 Final words Understand the process The figure should look ‘normal’. If you feel something is off, check and recheck. Make sure all lines are accounted for. Do not be afraid to ask questions during exam! Practice please Exposure to problems is key Lastly, do not doubt yourselves.
