Strengths Amazon.com Inc. has the largest and strongest brand in the online selling business. This shows Amazon’s rapid growth in the e-commerce business. The availability of wide product range gives strength to Amazon. In addition, Amazon’s rapid growth in acquisition proves its highest revenue in the market. With the extensive strength, Weaknesses Amazon has some weaknesses too, which are the barriers in to its success. Amazon’s profit margin is very low. Amazon does not have physical presence which is also its weakness. Opportunities Amazon has some opportunities which include social networking, growth in digital media, growing e-commerce sales. Amazon’s biggest opportunity is expansion through acquisitions. With the help of increased consumer spending online in other countries, Amazon has opportunity to expand globally. Threats

Team A Course Project With the tremendous opportunities, Amazon faces some threats as well. Amazon is fully dependent on vendors. Vendor’s availability is uncertain that is the biggest threat to Amazon. There are hundreds of other websites are offering the similar types of product which are available on Amazon. This practice also adds threat to Amazon. Organization’s Strategic Capacity Plan Amazon became the E-Commerce giant it is today by sticking with their mission statement, “to be Earth’s most customer-centric company, where customers can find and discover anything they might want to buy online, and endeavors to offer its customers the lowest possible prices.” (Amazon.com, Inc., 2018). With that and the number of different products and services that they offer, they have become the leader in the E-Commerce market. The ability to meet the consistent growth of the web-based services poses the question, how will Amazon increase capacity to meet the demand of the customer while continuing to deliver the quality of service to the customer? When it comes to an organization's strategic capacity, these strategies have a huge impact on how well they can survive in the market. These strategic capabilities are made up of the organization's assets and require them to be put to effective use. Some of Amazon’s physical resources include warehouses, customer databases, and products (such as books, electronics, digital goods and digital services). Having such a diverse category of products, competitive pricing, and the ease of being able to make a purchase with just one click put Amazon ahead of the competition. Amazon Prime is a great example of a very effective service that Amazon offers. As of the end of 2017, there are 100 million subscribers to this service, adding about 9.9 billion in revenue from subscription fees alone (Chowdhry, 2018). With about 310 million active
