Eastern European were restrained by the USSR and citizens were communist. There was a law that if European go too close to the Berlin Wall, citizen will get shot. Cold War also had impact in Western Europe such as they were controlled by the United States, Britain, and France. Western Europe were communist, and they have freedom to practice any religion. On the other hand, Cold War also had common impact between Eastern and Western Europe such as citizens were apart with their love ones because they were affected by Berlin Wall. Eastern and Western European began to destroy the wall. Cold War impacted Western and Eastern Europe in different and common ways; good or bad it is part of the Western Civilization history and must be known about by the new generations. In conclusion, Cold War affects Europe by means of practicing different religion, being controlled, and being communist.
