I believe that augmentation is the most important level because it is more customer centered and focuses on the needs of the buyer. This level also serves to differentiate Mercedes Benz cars from other competitors. Answer Mercedes is using the penetration pricing strategy to gain market share quickly. Mercedes could also use economy pricing as an alternative strategy. I believe that Mercedes made a right decision to use the penetration pricing strategy. This strategy will enable them to reach out to new markets and establish huge market base for their new car.
