analyzed in the eyes of the law of various countries where they operate as the rights and laws would varyfrom country to country. Further using investigators might be legal but due to ignorance or lack or oversighting has resulted in the seed police being misusing their authority and breaking the privacy laws of thefarmers which shall not be acceptable by the law and the farmers. Seeds are an essential product and areused in the food and agricultural market which appears to be the basic necessity .By patenting it andforcing farmers to purchase seeds every year would result in extra cost for the farmers in each seasonresulting in high production cost reducing the margins of the farmers.Farmers those belong to poor developing countries are already in drastic conditions. Increasing theproduction cost for the farmers would result in high production cost which cannot be afford for farmersworking at smaller scales and hence their bread and butter would be effected severly.Monsanto should tryto reduce the prices of their seeds or at least shall at least provide farmers with a relieve or incentive byrepurchasing or reimbursing for the some of the amount of the additional cost at least in the developingcountries where farmers are in pathetic condition. Monsanto should also increase the oversight of its seedpolice and should ensure that farmers are not harassed or forced rather they are been encouraged not touse the old seeds and return them to Monsanto as it would improve its image in the market which is veryessential because genetically re-engineered seeds itself is getting lots of criticism .
