33. Little Timmy isn't feeling well. He has had a high fever and a runny nose, and he's been coughing for two days. His mom wasn't too worried until this morning, when she also saw that the inside of Timmy's cheek had these white spots. Now she's afraid he may come down with some other serious symptoms. Why? +1 B. The infection tri ggers a hypersensitivity that may affect Timmy’s kidneys. You might have thought Strep throat, but he has a cough, and Strep produces RED spots, not white. +1 D. This fungal infection can turn into the mold form and become systemic. You might have thought Thrush, but this is not dimorphic and not associated with systemic infections.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
