The effectiveness of reward ceremonies: Rewards brings two important things in the organizations. One is motivation, employees get motivated when they get reward for their hard work. Second one is competition, as other employees would also like to get reward they will work hard as well. It will increase productivity in the organization. Higher productivity not only reduce the cost but also increase the production rate. The effectiveness of knowledge sharing: Sharing of knowledge will definitely increase the capability of working. Employees will get benefited from knowledge sharing. It will help them to work more effectively for the organization. Thus the organization will be benefited. The effectiveness of open house discussion : Open house discussion leads to the sharing of ideas. Employees can share new ideas to develop the operations of the organization. When their ideas get selected they get motivated. Thus the organization will also get benefited from this too. Evaluate the ideas and choose the best one for decision making. Even if management make any decision they take opinion about the decision from the employees. Criticism is also important. Thus Marks & spencer wants to know the criticism from the employees. So that if anything goes wrong or any decision that’s not suitable for the employees can be changed. Ease of tasks : Employee relation in the organization is important because it gives the clear definition of the organizational structure. When employees know their duty they can work without confusion. And clear work definition increase productivity. Productivity leads to more production and effective use of time. It will also reduce cost for the organization. As Marks & Spencer has a defined structure and employee relationship, so the work is done accurately and in short amount of time.
