In Ana’s situation, the counselor seems to be friendly, hence Ana feels free and open up what she is going through and admits that she was in for the therapy. However, counselor role is not to give an answer to the problems of the client, but is to empower the client with unrestricted positive comments and provide the client with safe therapeutic surroundings where clients can offload their life's problem (Elliot, 2011).
