Relating this to law enforcement has caused issues on a nationwide scale. “Law enforcement agencies insist that profiling based on many factors is necessary to find criminals and protect the public, and that few effective methods of investigation exist that would end the debate on racial profiling” (Quezzaire, 1). Authorities are trying to find the most effective way to protecting the community. After the 9/11 terrorist attacks, people of Asian and Middle Eastern decent, were being stopped and searched in airport facilities more than other people from different ethnic origins. The government and law enforcement agencies, were only trying to find an effective way to prevent a tragedy like 9/11 from happening again. Though, is this approach to protection working or is it
